Dr. Thomas X. Light The father of modern robotics, and of several robotic children. Dr. Light dreams of a world where humans and robots live and work together as equals, and it's painful for him to see how others have used his work for evil, but he's never stopped hoping, never stopped trusting... and never stopped inventing new ways for his creations to clean up the messes made by the less-responsible. He's been tinkering with a project called "X" for years, but in practice spends most of his time on more short-term projects. |

DLN-001 Mega Man a.k.a. Rock Manufacturer: Light Labs One of Dr. Light's original batch of Robot Masters, Rock was designed to be Dr. Light's lab assistant, but history had other plans: his strong sense of justice led him to volunteer to stop Dr. Wily's evil plans, becoming the super fighting robot, Mega Man. Mega Man's heroics are known worldwide, and he's almost universally recognized as the last word in protection from malicious or malfunctioning robots, despite--or perhaps because of--his dislike for fighting. DLN-002 Roll Manufacturer: Light Labs One of Dr. Light's original batch of Robot Masters, Roll was designed for housekeeping, but has since taken on Rock's original function of working as Dr. Light's lab assistant. She cares deeply for her family and does whatever she can to support them. She does not care very much for disruptive visitors. |

Rush Manufacturer: Light Labs A very good boy. Rush was designed to support Mega Man using his various transformations and detection abilities. His best trait is also his worst: he's a dog, with all the behavioral patterns you'd expect. |

Eddie Manufacturer: Light Labs Eddie is a box with legs. |

Beat Manufacturer: Cossack Robot Laboratories Beat is a robotic bird, supposedly, though he really just looks like a head with wings. He was gifted to Mega Man by Dr. Cossack as thanks for resolving that whole thing that happened, and supports him by variously attacking his enemies, projecting a protective shield for him, and lifting him out of holes. |

Auto A Mega Man fanatic in more than one sense, Auto is part of the hero's support team, specializing in constructing items (though he has been known to take to the field on occasion). Try not to worrytoo much about where he came from. You'll only give yourself a headache. |

KGN-002/DLN-061 Cold Man Manufacturer: King Cold Man was created by Dr. Light not as a Robot Master, but as a freezer for preserving prehistoric DNA samples, achieving temperatures approaching absolute zero. He was modified into his current form by Dr. Wily's rogue creation King, who focused on combat capabilities and skimped on the programming. Consequently, he's not the brightest robot around, though he's also very easygoing as a side effect of his function not really requiring him to do anything. Weapon: Ice Wall Weakness: Lightning Bolt |
